By Ferry.
This
is still the most popular method for those coming from the UK or Eire
with their car. The nearest ports to us are Roscoff and
St. Malo; both of which are less than two hours away.
Caen is a little over three hours and Cherbourg
is getting on for four hours. Other ports are further with the Chunnel
being over seven hours. More if you make stops and in High Season.
If you are coming from the north of England or Scotland, then the long
haul ferries from Hull or Rosyth may make sense. Somewhere along the line,
you have a long drive in front of you. Perhaps it is better our side of
the Channel where the roads are less crowded and petrol and diesel are
a lot less expensive.
We
can help with less expensive ferry fares.
We can often beat the on-line discount sites. Please ask for details when
you book with us.

By Air.
More and more people are choosing to fly. Our nearest airports are St.
Brieuc (less than an hour away), Lorient (about
an hour), Rennes and Dinard (both
around the hour and a half mark). Brest an hour forty
five) and Nantes (around two hours driving time).
Alamo, Auto-Europe,
Avis, Europecar, Hertz, Sixt and Thrifty all
exist in France, so you may be able to arrange for a hire car to be
waiting for you through your local offices. However, the downside of
this is that what you may save on the one hand you lose in terms of
cheap wine on the other.

If
you are coming to us from mainland Europe, then it is obvious to bring
your car.
From
the UK and Eire, it may be worth your while exploring all the options,
although if you are three or more adults, the ferries may still be the
best.
From anywhere else,
we seriously suggest you leave your car at home!
