| The Shippern |

The
Shippern is currently undergoing extensive alterations. When
completed (theory says Easter 2009), it will provide a spacious, single
storey gîte for a couple and is entered via a triple French Window.
The accommodation, which has high, beamed ceilings, will consist of a
well equipped kitchen (with cooker, fridge, microwave and coffee maker
and having well lit tiled surfaces and a double sink) will form the "foot"
of an "L" shape.
The living/dining room (some 5 metres x 4) will form the "leg" of the "L" and will have a cushion-laden four-seater sofa as well as a deep armchair. The bedroom, which will offer the choice of two single beds or one double, will have an en-suite shower room. Throughout The Shippern, the hard furnishings are solid pine. Although we are a TV-free zone, we do provide a CD player and reasonable selection of books, jigsaws and board games. A washing machine will be available to you in the Laundry Room, which is a few steps away, up in the big barn. Outside will be a patio area with garden furniture. You are invited to use and relax in our award winning gardens. Central heating and double glazing will ensure your comfort in the cooler months. We've not included
any photos yet, as we don't think those of a building site exactly reflect
the image of peaceful tranquillity that is (usually) Kermavio! But,
